The Super Bowl

A game that did not seem to have any excitement and was pretty lack lustre. It was a really hyped game with both the teams having triumphed over better teams in the earlier rounds. It just seemed like a dismal performance on the part of the Steelers because the packers just walked all over them. Some might argue they had a fighting chance since they came back in the last two quarters but I think they had mentally relinquished the game and title.

Not having a team to cheer and having just gone to enjoy a game at buffalo wild wings, there was nothing much to do. So we concentrated on the trivia game which they have going on simultaneously on the side screens.It turned out to be a lot more enjoyable then the game itself. The bad part we ended up missing a couple of touchdowns because we were enjoying our own little competition.

Besides the game, the Superbowl is famous for its half time performances. This year I have no words to describe it, it was just horrendous. Having Slash show up was the highlight of the evening but Fergie trying to sing sweet child of mine made me wonder how slash could stand there and let her destroy the song. It was the worse rendition I have ever heard. In all the super bowl was a dismal show and the trivia game was the saving grace.
