Keep it in mind
The things people tell you sometimes perplex me. These words have been uttered multiple times. I just heard them recently from my aunt in new york. What was the conversation about? Obviously about me getting married because I am so old. The way this conversation went was, I am not telling you to get married tomorrow but you are old enough and it is time to find someone. So you should keep it in mind, it will take it atleast two years to find someone.
For crying out loud, what should I keep in mind. Really was she telling me to keep reminding myself that I wanted to get married some day. I tried explaining to her that I am really not against the institution of marriage, I just have not found the correct guy. I was almost close to married four years ago so it is on my mind. My arguments did not make a difference, all she kept saying was, yeah I understand but keep it in mind. I am completely perplexed because she is not the only one who has told me this. The next time I am going to ask them to spell it out for me, what they want me to keep in mind so that I have it ingrained in my brain.
