Vacation Mode

No idea how may days prior to your vacation do you start blaming your vacation as your inability to be productive. A friend of mine claimed that she was in vacation mode all week before she left on a week long vacation. I am leaving for my three week vacation and since the last hour I am in no mood to do any sort of work.

To be honest it does not make sense because there is no way I can finish something tomorrow that I start today. Also it is never a good idea to work on something before a vacation just like never makes changes on a Friday because if it does stop functioning during that time and I am away then the boss is really not going to be happy with me. Another reason not to do any work is I am not going to remember the changes I make when I come back after a long vacation unless I document it really well.I would say for the remaining part of my day and the half day tomorrow I should refrain from doing anything important because I am in vacation mode and its just safe to relax and dream about warm and nice Bombay and all the wonderful home cooked meals.
