That time of the Month

So I am standing having a perfectly sane work conversation with my boss and a colleague and all of a sudden he starts talking about his ex-wife and the time of her month. I don't know if my boss felt weird because she chimed in with her two piece but I sure was not comfortable having that conversation.

For some reason most women blame a lot of things on the time of the month. I understand that they don't have their emotions completely under control because of all the crazy hormones but to scream and shout and behave like total b***** and to just blame it on pms does not seem right. I think most women think its ok to do whatever because they have a valid reason since they are irritated and going through pain. I have had some friends who behave like total jerks and then just call a day after and say "Oh its just the time of the month, you know what I mean". NO I don't know what you mean. I go through the same thing every month too and I don't take such liberties. Its just not ok to justify inappropriate behaviour with hormonal changes. I can understand tears or anger but just outright rudeness does not make any sense.

And the men, poor souls are just petrified about this because they have absolutely no idea what is going and so are completely clueless. Some of them get smart and maintain a calendar so that they can make themselves scarce or have some chocolate or wine around to appease the lady. It's not like I am saying the men don't justify the women getting angry by saying "Oh its that time, I didn't do anything wrong, she will pick on anything at this time". That is not true, I have friends who have told me oh you are screaming at me because you are pmsing...NO I was not. I was just screaming, because they were behaving like jerks.

Well I guess the time of the month is definitely a delicate time and women should be treated with a little more care. It is one of those things that you should just avoid talking about because it leads to nothing but problems. Whatever it is,everyone will agree it definitely is not water cooler talk.
