The Wait....The Chase

I didn't really think about this but it seems like it is a very important part in the male- female equation, women wait and men chase. For some reason the waiting makes the woman feel wanted and the chase makes the man feel, self important, like he has achieved a great deal when he finally obtains the woman(the prize).

This whole equation sounds very materialistic but that's what most relationships are based on. I was told by a very experienced friend a couple of weeks ago that if I want a man to want me, I need to make him chase me, I need to make it difficult for him to contact me and get a hold of me. I don't see how playing these games would help but apparently it does seem to work. If you don't answer a gtalk message for sometime, they call you and if you don't answer the call, then they text you.

Don't really understand if this wait and chase method is going to get anyone anywhere in this fast paced world because people hate to wait and so pick the phone call on the first ring.  Not every woman knows how to play the mind game and make the guy chase. I guess there should be a manual that tells women and men how to behave with the wait and chase, so that both are happy in the silly mouse and cat game.
